    • New year and new visions

      14 January 2010

The last few months have been an exciting time for RichclientGUI, so much so that our website has been neglected quite a bit.

We are repositioning ourselves in the market here on the Southern tip of Africa, and also hoping to gain more international exposure. Part of our business model changes led us to decide to make our full RCP Toolbox project opensource (previously only part of it was opensource). The full version should be available on Sourceforge shortly.

Before the end of 2010 we want to be the leading provider of software solutions based on Eclipse technologies in Southern Africa. You will see more information on this as the website gets updated.

To all our clients and website visitors: may 2010 be a year filled with vision for you!

    • A Webstartable RCP Toolbox demo app

      21 March 2009

Another thing that has been a long time coming: a RCP Toolbox sample application that can be webstarted

You can run this webstartable demo to first check out the toolbox features. (The demo must download about 20Mb's of eclipse plugins, so it might take time to start up, depending on your bandwidth.)

    • New release: Version 1.0.4

      21 March 2009

Finally version 1.0.4 is released. This version brings two main features:

1.) ObjectComboCelleditors, with a some funky decorators thrown in. These allow you do use ContentProviders to define domain objects to populate a ComboCellEditor with, and LabelProviders for specifying how it must be represented.

2.) Bugfixes and improvements to the Date functionality of the Validation Framework.

       Enjoy.

    • RCP Toolbox 1.0.3 on sale

      08 January 2009
Our next version of the toolbox is quite a bit behind schedule, so we have decided to put the current version 1.0.3 on half-price sale. This offer will last at least until V1.1 gets released. And if we get enough sales we might be inspired to give v1.1 for free to all v1.0.x owners :-).

    • New version in the pipeline...

      10 November 2008

In between all the consulting work and other projects, we're working hard at readying the next version of RCP Toolbox (maybe in time for Christmas? Not that it would be on the top-10 list of christmas gadgets).

We're planning some nifty improvements, including a validating combo-box and some additional error/warning indication options. If we can, we'll throw in integration with the JFace Databinding API as well... and not forgetting a webstart version of the RCP Toolbox Samples Application.

Let us know what would be on your wishlist for RCP Toolbox.
